The Great British Tattoo Show

What an incredible weekend this was! This is a tattoo convention ran by a big UK tattoo magazine called "Skindeep Tattoo" on 14th -15th May 2022.

What an incredibly successful weekend @skindeep_uk The Great British Tattoo Show !

It was so nerve racking on Saturday morning, adrenaline pumping, sweating and freaking out a little bit inside 😆 but by the time the general public started walking in and we got talking we settled in pretty quick and got to work.

Both artists absolutely smashed it, on Saturday Mollie did a lovely butterfly and an awesome surrealism piece and Nik smashed out a couple of Trad bangers of a classic rose with a name and a couple of nails in an armpit!

All the hard work is paying off. The vibes and energy was amazing and the other artists was on point too!

After a long day we had a couple of beers and some moonshine from our friend and fellow artist from Indonesia Kelly Julio, go check out his work, he's incredible. We're hoping to have him as a guest artist at some point in the near future.

Sunday was a lot smoother in the morning and we wasn't so stressed out as we knew what to expect.

We had some help from another artist Steve Airey (go check him out too, he's awesome) he helped us get a client from the CBD stall for Nik to do one of his traditional designs he really wanted to do, swallow with a rose. Nik entered it into the Neo Traditional competition but unfortunately wasn't able to finish it on time for the judging, at least we got it up on stage for people to look at then went back to finish it off.

Mollie had a walk up on the Sunday and produced a wicked dagger and heart piece in black and grey which was also entered into the realism category, got it up on stage and had people take photos which was cool.

This weekend could’ve have gone any better.

Although we didn't win anything it was still an amazing experience and met some great people and made some new connections. The talent at the show was unbelievable.

We look forward to next year!

Thanks to everyone who got tattooed by us, bought Merch, took stickers, cards and flyers.

We enjoyed jammin with everyone !
